Here are some pics of the snow, I had never seen Redbud trees with snow on them until Saturday. They were very pretty. Also a pic of the Bradford Pears, Blue Spruce, and my day lilies.

Puzzle Time!
Well for lent I gave up my video games so I have been working on a couple of 1000 piece puzzles. I actually finished the jelly bean one but the peppermint twist one is proving to be quite a challenge. They have been quite fun, I have forgotten how much I love to work on puzzles!

Happy Spring officially!
Papa and I went to Quartz Mountain lodge for a few days during spring break. It was wonderful! We went on a major five hour hike up the Quartz mountains. We saw lots of cactus. I love the little barrel ones and Papa found this cool heart shaped one! We had a great time. Of course Papa had to get a round of golf in!

Happy Spring! Hard to believe just six weeks ago we were having an ice storm! Yesterday we went to Roman Nose so Papa could golf then we went on a three and a half hour hike. The weather was gorgeous. By Wednesday we will back to the 40's...=(. Went out in the yard Sat and found this lone daffodil blooming. The bradford pears are all a blossom!
Miss my "Z" girls something fierce! Love to all and Happy Birthday Danny!

March Madness!!!!!!
Hello out there! Can you believe it is already March? Where does the time go?
Well, I am starting the month with a nasty cold. I was out in the schools a couple of days last week so not hard to know where it came from! All I have been doing is sleeping, reading and working on a 1000 piece puzzle! I feel wiped out.
Two more weeks though and it will be spring break, YEAH!! I plan to get some scrapbooking done and maybe yard work. Right now, though, it is freezing, literally. I think the low is supposed to be 22 tonight.
We will have nice days during the week and yucky weather on the weekends.
Papa is missing his golf bigtime!
We are both missing our "Z" girls. We love you dearly and hope to see you soon.

Bunko, Tornadoes and Valentine's Day, OH MY!

Well, I had bunko at the house last Thursday. We had a lot of fun, home made tortilla soup, Mexican pizza using phyllo dough for the crust and and Chocolate-Raspberry Passion for dessert! Amber you should have been there! I won $15.00 also. Cori, Ellen and I ended up talking after everyone left until after 10:30! We had a great time.
Tuesday and Wednesday I was at the Oklahoma Technology Convention downtown. Tuesday while we were in sessions the tornado sirens blew three different times. After I found a TV to find out where the tornadoes were it looked like they were right on top of our house. They hit half a mile away! It also took me 90 min. to get home because of all the power outages (traffic lights not working) and roads being closed because of the downed power lines. Crazy weather, it was only two weeks ago we had the ice storm!
As usual the house is all decked out for Valentine's Day. Here are some pics. I found the tree at Hobby Lobby for 80% off. It is more practical than getting out the big tree.
I sent the girls hand crafted cards. Hopefully they will get them on Saturday. Love to all!
